Dr. Lindsay Tierney

White woman with long brown hair and black glasses

I began my professional career working in Neuropsychology as a psychometrist, which eventually led to working in Accessibility Resources and Dean of Students offices within higher education for nearly a decade.

Beginning in 2021, I decided to compile my 16 years of experience, education, and research in working with college students into working as an academic coach/educational consultant. I also teach at the college level in first-year student success courses.

While open to working with all types of students, I specialize in working with students in STEM and healthcare programs. I also welcome working with neurodivergent students, specifically those with ADHD and Anxiety.

I completed my Doctorate of Education in Leadership Studies from University of Lynchburg. My dissertation research investigated the relationship between self-determination and academic success for college students with disabilities. I also hold degrees in Psychology (B.S.) and Rehabilitation Counseling (M.S.).

I am currently a member of the Coaching in Higher Education Consortium (CHEC) and serve as Vice President of the National Consortium of Nursing Academic Coaches (NCNAC). For inquiries regarding speaking and training opportunities, please email resolvabilityedu@gmail.com.

Coaching can provide the right strategizing to allow every student to reach their boundless individual academic potential!
